Khaled Mohamed El-Nabawy (born September 12, 1966 –) is an Egyptian actor who has played roles in cinema, theater, and television.
He was born in the city of Mansoura, and graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Egypt in 1989. The beginning of his entry into acting was by chance. After completing high school, he joined the Higher Institute for Agricultural Cooperation, and was among the acting teams that performed theatrical works. He won the Best Actor Award at the Johannesburg Film Festival for the film The Immigrant (1994). He also participated in the American film Kingdom of Heaven by international director Ridley Scott in the role of one of the leaders of the Saladin Army, and starring in the movie The Citizen in 2012.
Khaled El-Nabawy won many awards during his artistic career, as he won the Best Actor award at the Johannesburg Festival for the film The Migrant in 1995, and he also received a certificate of appreciation from the Cinema Art Association for the same film, in addition to the Egyptian Cinema Award as the best actor in 1998 for his role in Film Destiny (1997).
