 Mohamed El-Sayed Mohamed El-Shennawy, goalkeeper of Al-Ahly club, born in 1988 , in Al-Hamoul, Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, and joined Al-Ahly club from the 2016-2017 season.


He played for Al-Hamoul Club in the Premier League B in the junior teams, then moved to Al-Ahly youth from 2002 to 2009 and graduated in the age stages, and played with the Egypt national team for juniors under the age of 18, and participated with the junior team in the African Championship of the same age, where he played matches against Cameroon, Nigeria and Zambia, Then he joined the Olympic national team, and from 2009 to 2012 he played for Talaa El-Geish Club. Then he joined Petrojet and returned again to Al-Ahly Club, starting from the 2016-2017 season.

Mohamed El-Shennawy played his first international match in a friendly match between the Egyptian team and Portugal on the sidelines of the team’s preparations for the World Cup in 2018.

Mohamed El-Shennawy participated with the Egyptian Olympic team in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics after being chosen as one of the three players over Olympic age.

Egypt goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shennawy achieved a historic achievement after participating in the Olympic football team match against Spain, where he became the second Egyptian goalkeeper to play in the World Cup and Olympic finals, after Mustafa Kamel Mansour did it during the thirties.
