Dr. Yahya Rakhawy

Dr. Yahya Rakhawy is an Egyptian psychiatrist and writer, born in Cairo in 1933. He obtained a doctorate in psychiatry in 1963 and a diploma in mental and neurological diseases in 1961.


He is the author of more than 40 books, the most famous of which are (The Wisdom of the Insane, When Man Undresses, Psychology Under a Microscope, Principles of Psychiatry), in addition to his supervision of 34 scientific studies for Masters and Ph.D. “Walking the Path” in 1979, and he has several press interviews on analyzing the personality of some presidents and political figures.

Although he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1957 from the Faculty of Medicine, Kasr Al-Ainy, he preferred to specialize in psychiatry and excelled in it, and he is the chief advisor of the Mokattam House for Mental Health. Psychology and Scientific Culture Committee.
