Maged El-Kadwany

 Maged El-Kadwany (December 10, 1967 -), an Egyptian actor, is famous for presenting many Arab comedies and dramas in cinema and television. Natives and others. He started his career with a number of amateur plays, before participating in a number of television works, such as "Al-Qandaq" and "We Don't Plant Thorns".


He was born in Shubra neighborhood and spent his life from childhood to 18 years in the State of Kuwait. At the beginning of his life, Majed specialized in studying decoration, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in it from the College of Fine Arts, but his ambition was higher than that, so he joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, and got He also has a BA in it, and graduated from it in 1995. Before graduating, he participated in many amateur plays, and his first play was (The Shoemaker is a King) and he participated in a number of television works such as "Al-Qunqd" and "We Don't Grow Thorns", while The 1996 movie "Asphalt Goblins" is his first. He also participated in the animated series (Afhamni Shukran) in 2009, and the first starring role for television was the series (Family Matter).

As a result of his ingenuity and excellence in the world of art, he was honored at the Film Association Festival in 2013 and received the Acting Award, as well as the Catholic Center Film Festival Award.

The jury at the 2011 Chicago International Film Festival praised the film 678 and the performance of the Egyptian artist Maged El-Kadwany, describing him as an actor with a strong presence that pushes you to follow him in every scene in which he appears.

The artist Maged El-Kadwany expressed his happiness in collaborating with the artist Karim Abdel Aziz, in the movie “Some do not go to the authorized twice,” stressing that there is chemistry between them, and that he is proud to work with director Amr Salama through artistic works that brought them together, namely, the films of Asmaa, then Sheikh Jackson and the film “Brah Al Manhaj.” Explaining that the film Libra Curriculum is a new film and a new type of artwork.


And about the first starring role in the TV drama “In the Family Matter series”, which some believe was later than Majed Al-Kadwany, he said, “Most of the roles that I took under the name of the second role left a prominent mark on the audience and considered me the business hero. I do not care at all about the space of the role or the size of my image On the negative, I am against categorization from the ground up, whether the role is first or second, as acting is a team game, and the most important thing that is supposed to occupy the mind of the actor is his role within the work. And that the motives of attraction in his new series "Family Matter" are: the quality of the writing and the speed of the tempo, and Al-Kidwani described the co-stars with him in the series "Family Matter" as "the bones".
