Yehia El-Fakharani 1945 an Egyptian actor and Doctor , born in Dakahlia Governorate, in the Delta of Egypt. In October 2020, Yehia El-Fakharani was appointed as a deputy in the Egyptian Senate by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1971 from the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University in Cairo, and was a prominent member of the faculty’s acting team, and was awarded the Best Actor Award at the level of Egyptian universities. After graduating, he practiced medicine for a short period as a general practitioner in the TV Medical Services Fund. He intended to specialize in psychiatric and neurological diseases, and at that time he considered art only as a hobby, but he fell into the professional circle.
In the College of Medicine, get to know Dr. Lamis Jaber, where it is said that one evening on the university stage he was showing a play by “Bernard Shaw,” and in the last scene of the play a kind of error occurred due to the management of the theater, so he left the theater in anger. And between the scenes, Lamis, a colleague at the Faculty of Medicine, confronted him and besieged his revolution and asked him to return to greet the viewers, whether they felt wrong or not, because she had a great cultural activity and played a small role in the same play. He has feelings of attachment to his colleague “Lamis” as a wife, friend and partner with whom he can start a new life. She now works as a gynecologist and obstetrician and writes scenarios away from the spotlight. He has two children from her (Shadi, Tariq).
