Dalal Abdel Aziz is an Egyptian actress. She entered the artistic field in 1977. She is the wife of actor Samir Ghanem since 1984.
Dalal Abdel Aziz Muhammad was born in the village of Ferghan, one of the villages of Derb Negm in the Sharkia Governorate. She holds a BA from the Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University, a BA from the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, and a Bachelor of Arts, English Department, from the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, and a diploma in Political Science. From the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University.
In 1984, she married the artist Samir Ghanem, and gave birth to their two daughters, Donia and Amal (better known as Emy), both of whom practiced acting, and she is related to actress Mayssa Maghribi. On March 30, 2014, she became a grandmother after her daughter, Donia Samir Ghanem, gave birth to the first-born, a girl, named Kayla.
She entered the field of acting in 1977 with some small roles, including her role in the series "Bint Al Ayam", and her actual beginning was when the artist Nour El Demerdash presented her to the theater, and she participated in many series, plays and films, and with these works she was able to obtain many awards as the best actress.
On April 30, 2021, it was announced that Dalal Abdel Aziz had been transferred to a private hospital in the Fifth Settlement area, and her husband, artist Samir Ghanem, was transferred to a hospital in the Mohandessin area, as a result of their infection with the Corona virus. Then, on May 20, 2021, it was announced the death of Samir Ghanem at the age of 84, affected by the repercussions of infection with the Corona virus, and about three months later, Dalal Abdel Aziz died after a struggle with lung cirrhosis on August 7, 2021. Two weeks before her death, she was transferred to a government hospital in October area.
