Mona Zaki

 Mona Ali Mohamed Zaki, born on November 18, 1976, is an Egyptian actress born in Cairo, the youngest among her sisters. Moving between Kuwait, England and the United States, she studied media in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising at Cairo University.


She began acting through the Cairo University theater, and made her popular by choosing to perform the character of a middle-class or popular girl in Egypt, where the number of fans increased, especially from young men and women of the Egyptian middle class.

 Her first artistic work was the play “ be el Araby In Arabic El Fasih” with the artist Mohamed Sobhi, and her work in a number of films that appeared in the late nineties of the twentieth century contributed to her fame in the cinematic field.                                                                                                                She also contributed with a number of actors of her generation in formulating what was known as the concept of clean cinema or family cinema, where she was keen to present the roles of the girl with an innocent angelic face and to stay away from sensual roles or those that carry some bad moral qualities.


She also made several films, the most important of which are: Abu Ali's movie with the artist Karim Abdel Aziz, which was one of her best works, which put the artist Mona Zaki on the list of great artists, and also "My Aunt France", "Laugh the picture looks sweet", "Saidi in the American university ”, “leh khaltny ahbek ”, “Africanw”, “Sadat’s Days”, “ sahar el laeily”, “Taymour and Shafiqa”, “Wlad Al-Am”, “ashab wla aaz”.                                                                                                                                        She has performed many plays, the most important of which are: the play "Keda Oky " (2003) with the artist Hani Ramzy and the play "Afroto" with the artist Mohamed Henedy.                                          The most important works were presented for television, including: "Afrah al-Qubba", "Stray Light", "The Other Half of the Spring", "My Aunt Safiya and the Monastery", "Zizinia" and "Newton's Game".


Seven out of twelve plastic surgeons agreed on her as "the most beautiful Egyptian actress."                  In 2002, she married the artist Ahmed Helmy, and a year later she gave birth to their daughter, Li Li, and in 2014 she gave birth to their second son, Selim. They had their third son, Younes, in 2016.
