Saadeddin Shazly (1 April 1922-10 February 2011), Chief of Staff of the Egyptian armed forces in the period between May 16, 1971 until December 13, 1973. His military career
Chadli joined the Military Academy in February 1939, at the age of 17 years, and graduated as a Lieutenant in July 1940 and then assigned to serve in the Royal Guard from 1943 to 1949 participated in the Palestine war of 1948 under the ownership of a secret sent by the palace. Join the Free Officers in 1951. He founded the first paratroopers in Egypt in 1954. And participated in the tripartite aggression in 1956. Yemen participated in the war as commander of an infantry brigade from 1965 to 1966. Form a group of special forces later known (Chadli group) in 1967.
Won fame for the first time during World War II in 1941 when the Egyptian and British troops facing German troops in Western Sahara, and when orders were issued for the Egyptian and British forces to withdraw.
